Your loctitian is not a fan of oils! LOL! But with my hair type I have to keep it moisturized so we will have to part ways on this.
I keep it light in the summer and use a couple of the oils you've mention. My hair hates coconut oil. But olive, jojoba, avocado, sunflower are all good. I also like Waleda's rosemary oil. I go a bit heavier in the winter. My hair soaks up castor oil so I'll use that alone or in a mix. Now that my hair is longer though, I will be taking care to keep it up a lot, especially when wearing sweaters and keeping my bonnet on. I know that oil does attract lint!
Also try more moisturizing shampoos, maybe in the winter so that you don't have to use as much oil. My hair/scalp is naturally really oily so I haven't had to use too much oil on a daily basis.
