How to Moisturize & Seal Your Locs, Twists, Or Braids

Yes, Traditional Locs and protective styles like Twists or Braids do need to be moisturized to maintain the health of the hair. I've noticed though that a lot of people don't know the proper way to moisturize their hair, let alone what moisture is, so I created a quick video [HERE] with a few tips.

What are you currently using to moisturize and seal your hair? Share some of your favorites in the comments below:

  1. Thanks for pointing out that you don't need fancy moisturizers or products to keep your hair juicy. I've always used just water and it works fine.

I'm a fan of oils for sealing because I'm concerned about buildup. Argan oil is my favorite as of late.

Your hair is looking good, BTW *thumbs up*

  2. I use plain old water and Extra Virgin Olive oil mixed with coconut oil. Works magic for my hair!
