Last night Jess, Crystal and I went out to Virginia for the Holiday Mixer at Carol's Daughter. The event was put together by Marques Davis Productions and included fashion, beauty, and hair care information and giveaways.
After we arrived the host, Marques Davis, greeted everyone and immediately did a giveaway for some very cute clutches.
After the giveaway, we went around trying and sniffing products...well at least Jess was, lol.
I have never tried any Carol's Daughter products before because of the ingredients, but I found a few things that I wanted to try...
This Macadamia Heat Setting Foam seemed really interesting and this was my first time hearing about it. I didn't get it during the event, but I am going to do a little more research to see if I should invest in it for my clients. I did pick up some of the Carol's Daughter "Hair Balm: Liquid Pomade" and I'm planning to do a Twist-Out with it.
After a little shopping, we had some delicious treats, a glass of champagne, and took some pictures.
We only stayed for about 30 minutes, but I had a good time overall with the girls!
